Export: Request a copy of your data (email us)
Correction: Update your username in settings

6. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymous game analytics may be retained indefinitely.

Quizio is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. International Users

Quizio is operated from the United States. If you're accessing from the EU or other regions, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US.

TL;DR: Play fair, don't cheat, be respectful. We provide Quizio "as is" and aren't liable if something breaks. You must be 13 or older to create an account.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quizio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use Quizio.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Quizio. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You're responsible for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Cheat: Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to play games.
Abuse: Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them.
Harass: Use offensive usernames or harass other players.
Spam: Send unwanted invitations or abuse the email invite feature.
Impersonate: Pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your identity.
Interfere: Attempt to disrupt the service or other users' experience.
Reverse engineer: Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code (beyond what's legally permitted).

5. Intellectual Property

Quizio and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Quizio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Quizio name, logo, and branding are our trademarks.
Quiz content and game mechanics are our intellectual property.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

6. User Content

When you submit content (like quiz suggestions or feedback):

You grant us a license to use, modify, and display that content.
You represent that you have the right to submit that content.
We may remove content that violates these terms.

7. Third-Party Services

Quizio uses third-party services (Google for authentication, Supabase for data storage). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Quizio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We don't guarantee that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The service is free of viruses or harmful components
The results of using the service will meet your requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quizio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quizio from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your use of the service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination:

We may delete your account and data
Provisions that should survive termination will survive
